UPDATE AUGUST 23rd, 2021. We are working together with the Town of Oakville and QEP (Community and Cultural Centre) to bring back some "in person" classes to adults and children at the end of September, beginning of October. We will have our first "Drop In" in person on October 18th, in our regular "Music Room 1". Stay tuned for details and ... changes. EVERYTHING IS FLUID - including sneezes, so be careful out there! Mask up and vax up for the love of your fellow humans.

The sad news from Tk’emlups te Secwepemc

Responding to the news this past week through Tk’emlups te Secwepemc First Nation: We’ve had a few Indigenous performers play with us over the years, including the amazing Herbie Barnes and Craig Lauzon. For the sake of our friends and colleagues and the memory of the children (so many more than 215) that have been physically, mentally, and spiritually harmed by the residential school system, we encourage you to read the TRC Report. Those who have been educated by it were saddened but not surprised by the news. So much of what we need to do is listen and respond to what survivors have already said. Believe them. Since 2015, only 10 of 94 recommended actions have been carried out. It’s not nearly enough.
