Loads of fun last night at the Theatresports™ Tournament we’ve dubbed The Bubble (teams going up the rankings like bubbles). Two upset matches, where the challengers won their set. The rest of the week will see our Teen and Kids classes graduate, and the sad end to Lisa Merchant’s series with our adults on the 7th. Next week, December 8th, catch Midwife Crisis as they defend against Systematic Roundhouse Kick. After that, we continue with a JAM SESSION night for a holiday send off to the teams – everybody that’s at the show is welcome to join in. On the 12th, our QEP Theatresports™ show will be our final of the year, there, with Coarse Whisperers trying to gain ground against the fearless Those Meddling Kids. And we’ll see Gary Pearson return again for a rollicking round of Merry for the whole family (2302 Bridge Road). And if you’re looking for ways to have fun this holiday season, we’re also hosting two drop-in workshops for EVERYONE at Central Baptist Church, 340 Rebecca Street, at Morden Road (rear doors, off the parking lot). The workshops take place December 15th and 22nd from 7-9pm. All you need to do is bring yourself, a friend and something to pass on to the Food Bank (non-perishables, diapers, etc.) If you have never tried improv or have and just want to play for fun, come on down and hang out with us as we play some spontaneity and group games that will keep you smiling on the inside, even though it’s cold on the outside. FINALLY, Monday, December 29th, is a DARK KNIGHT for us, so hang out with your friends or family (or both) and have a rest. Do some positive yes, ands with people on your street. Enjoy the holidays and have a safe and lovely time until we see you again.
DECEMBER FUN!
